Exchanging order data in real time
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is also used at AGM. It allows the company to efficiently deliver its goods as needed to its clients, which include Hogast affiliates, Sodexo, Sutterlüty or Österreichische Mensen as well as some privately owned hotels. All order, delivery and invoice data are exchanged via eXite®, the EDI platform by EDITEL. This logistics information, ranging from electronic article master data, orders, and despatch advices to electronic invoice data, is safely and reliably transferred in real time via eXite®. This translates into quick order processing and happy clients.

Article data pertaining to the EU food information regulation
The same is true for information relevant for the EU food information regulation. Ever since this regulation became effective on November 13, 2014, food-related businesses are required to provide accurate and comprehensive product data to their business partners, including name, net quantity, place of provenance, ingredients list and allergen indications. AGM also transfers this information automatically via EDI (PRICAT) to its business partners and thereby ensures that data is always fully available and updated.
