Cloud Platform Engineer

You will be responsible for designing and implementing the company’s cloud platform. The candidate should provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications and have knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud-native CI/CD and GitOps principles.

Your contribution to our success

  • Architect, deploy & maintain cloud-based solutions
  • Design, implement and manage company’s cloud infrastructure
  • Close collaboration with Software Architect in designing cloud native solutions and guiding the development team during the implementation phase
  • Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications and services
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability and security of cloud-based systems
  • Ensure compliance with solution requirements, security standards, and best practices for cloud environments
  • Work closely with the developers and operations team to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing cloud based solutions
  • Experience with cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, IAM etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code, building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with microservices and serverless; containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
  • Good knowledge in monitoring/logging/tracing, configuration management and application testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good proficiency in English (C1), German is a plus

Remuneration

The minimum salary on a full-time basis for a Cloud DevOps Engineer according to the IT collective agreement is EUR 45 ,000 to EUR 60,000 gross. However, remuneration in line with the market is a matter of course for us. Together we will determine an attractive gross salary.
